Things to experience:
1.Local lifestyle
2.Extremely hot weather
3.Impressive ruins of Wat Chai Watthanaram

Ayutthaya is a river island not far from Bangkok which used to be a capital of Autthaya kingdom for a 400 years. It was completely destroyed by the Burmese in 1767. There is no skyscrapers – just jungle, marsh, river and locals and impressive ruins of Buddhist temples.

Because of any buildings but not temples were made of wood there are nothing left after city were burned down. On the map of Ayutthaya you will see a lot of tourist attractions – but only one really worth going – ruins of Wat Chaiwatthanaram
