Entering House :
Hey,
Grab application has Ekbodin Condominium
If you take MRT go out at Lat Phrao Exit 3 and turn to Lat Phrao Soi 17 is the only condominium building there on your left side
Once we are done with cleaning – keys will be in the white envelope with the security guard ground floor (he has a separate booth). Show him a picture of envelope so he knows what you are talking about or show him this “กุญแจห้อง5/85ยู่ในจดหมายขาวที่นี่”
Here are some photos:

Arrival: Please touch the mark on the front door with a gray coin keycard to unlock it. Your room is number 5/85 on the 4th floor.
❄️ Air Conditioner: Follow these steps to use the AC efficiently:
- Close all windows, the entrance, and bathroom doors.
- Turn on the AC using the remote control or the button on the unit in Cool Mode (not the fan, auto or dry signs, check if it is not on quiet mode or timer).
- Adjust the Fan Speed to your preference.
- Set the temperature to 27°C for the best efficiency and use a portable wall fan for extra comfort. If you set the AC at 16-23, the air-con starts dripping condensation because of high humidity
- The best way to save on electricity is to use 27C setting AC together with regular wall fan ✇🌫
Wi-Fi: Connect to “Tropical_apartment_5G” with the password “0827960151” for fast and reliable internet access.
Smoking: Kindly enjoy your smoke outside the apartment, as smoking indoors is not permitted.
🚿Hot Water: The shower’s hot water works automatically. If it’s not hot, press ‘test’ and then lift the fall-down orange button. If it’s still not warm, please check the electrical breaker next to the door.
Drinking Water: We recommend purchasing water from the nearby 7-11, as tap water is not suitable for drinking, even when boiled. You’ll find some water bottles upon your arrival, and there’s a 7-11 across the Lat Phrao road. You can also explore a gourmet market at the other MRT exit for more options.
Check-out Time: Please check out by 11 am on your departure day. If you require a later check-out, kindly inform me a couple of days in advance, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.
🧺 Laundry: You’ll find a washer in the kitchenette and a dryer on the balcony. Grab some liquid detergent from 7-11 and follow the rules: no shoes or bags inside. Iron and ironing board are also provided for your convenience.
How to Use the Washing Machine
Close the lid securely.
Pull out the detergent drawer (white slot) and add liquid detergent.
Slide the drawer back in after adding detergent.
Select the “Mixed” program, then press the Start/Play button to begin.

Here ho to use the dryer:
🦟 Mosquitoes: Keep your windows closed at night to avoid mosquitoes. You can purchase mosquito repellent spray at 7-11 or white tiger balm from the pharmacy.
🐜 Ants: Since we do not provide daily maid service, you may occasionally encounter ants. As a low-rise building, it’s easy for them to wander in from outside. Ant colonies are attracted to specific food smells—such as meat, alcohol, or fruit—so keeping surfaces clean and food sealed helps deter them. If ants become a nuisance, you can:
- Spray with ant repellent (available at 7-11 or local stores) every 2–3 days.
- Wipe down counters and remove food residues or strong-smelling items.
🚪 Visitor Etiquette: For security and courtesy to neighbors, please ensure all guests/visitors are included in your reservation details (amount of people in the room matches booking). If you receive visitors during your stay:
- Accompany them to the ground floor when they arrive or depart.
- Grab the keys and use the Blue coin size key card to enter the front door – touch the white thing with it and then push the door.
Electricity
As described in the profile for stays longer than 28 nights, the electricity will be charged at 10 baht per kw/h unit according to the meter. There is a meter which measures how much electricity you use in kw/h. The only thing that really affects the bill is usage of air-con. For your information, a small aircon model 9 uses 2.6 kw/h at full speed, bigger aircon model 13 uses 3.8 kw/h at full speed. I check the meter when you check in and keep a photo for reference, and I will check it again after you check out or after one month passes. I deduct the amount of kw/h used and bill you 10 baht per kw/h. I will request this payment via Airbnb resolution center. The average amount I pay in baht for a month during the cool season, November to February is normally one to two thousand-baht. From March to October, two to three thousand-baht but the final amount really depends on your usage of AirCon.
Garbage Disposal: Use the green trash can across the street for daily disposal. The garbage man will handle the recycling process.
Room Cleaning: To maintain the cleanliness of your room, please use the provided tools. Start with the brush to sweep the floor, then use the yellow mop and bucket for washing. Finish by using the grey mop to dry the floor. Alternatively, you can opt for maid service at an additional cost of 540 baht.
Supplies Provided: Upon arrival, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, shampoo, soap, garbage bags, bedsheets, two bath towels, and cleaning supplies. Feel free to use them during your stay. If you need additional supplies, you can find affordable options at 7-11 or Big C.
Toilet Etiquette: Please dispose of toilet paper in the bin provided. The Thai tradition is to use the small toilet sprayer first, then use toilet paper if needed. This way, there is no toilet paper in the bowl and no brown paper in the bin.
The shower drain is fitted with a protective cover to prevent cockroaches from entering through the pipes. Over time, debris and buildup may slow drainage. Since daily cleaning services are not provided, you should occasionally:
1. **Remove** the drain cover.
2. **Rinse** it under running water to clear any blockages.
3. **Replace** it securely after cleaning.
Leaving the drain open or uncleaned for extended periods may attract pests. Keeping the cover clear ensures proper drainage and helps maintain a clean environment.

GYM: A basic gym is available on the rooftop. To access it:
- Take the elevator to the top floor.
- Use the stairs to reach the rooftop gym.
Please Note:
The gym is not open 24/7—management locks it outside office hours.
For more flexible access, the nearest gym is BKK Sky Gym (~1,800 THB/month).

MRT Exit: The nearest MRT Exit is No. 3, known as Lat Phrao 17.
Nearby Stores: Take a walk to Big C, which is within walking distance. Turn right at Lat Phrao road to find it. You can also explore a gourmet market at the other MRT exit for some culinary delights.

Getting around in Bangkok
Taxis are everywhere, are simple and straightforward to use. We recommend avoiding taxis during rush hour, as traffic is notorious in Bangkok.
You can spot a free taxi by the light in the corner of the windshield. While it’s technically illegal for a taxi driver to not use their government provided fare meters, as with many laws in Thailand, this one is rarely enforced. Be aware that any time a taxi driver tries to negotiate a flat rate you are likely going to be paying at least double – if not triple – what the metered fare would otherwise be. If the taxi driver won’t use the meter or doesn’t want to take you for any reason, just keep flagging down taxis until you find one that will.
What to Watch Out For The taxis in Bangkok are much more regulated than their tuk-tuk counterparts, and as a result there are far fewer scams. There are, however, some things to be wary of. The two main things to watch out for are meters that are jury-rigged to go up faster than normal and drivers that will intentionally take you to the wrong location or take wrong turns to drive up the metered fare. Just stay alert riding in a taxi, looking at your trip’s progress on Google Maps, and pay attention to how fast the meter goes up. If you feel like you’re being taken advantage of by a driver, simply tell him to pull over on the spot, pay the metered fare, get out, and hail another cab. Do not argue with the driver.
Rideshare Apps Grab, Bolt, Line Man apps for your phone are the only applications working properly in Thailand and offer variety of services – including transport, food delivery, and minimart services. The apps are handy because you won’t have to explain your destination, and outside of rush hour times the prices are reasonable, flat rates. You can pay in cash or link the app to your credit card. Getting around in Bangkok.

Subway MRT and Sky Train BTS
1.) Tickets in stations can be bought from ticketing machines as well as actual
humans who sell them from behind bulletproof glass, now you can use your credit card to tap in the MRT as well.
2.) The ticketing machines in the MRT take bills! They only give change in coins, however, so if you use a 100 baht note to pay for a 19 baht fare, you’re going to get a pocket full of change.
3.) The MRT tickets are not cards, but rather plastic RFID coins. Instead of sliding them into a slot on the turnstile, just pass them over the RFID reader to open the gates.
1.) Find Ticket Machine
2.) Purchase Ticket
3.) Enter Turnstiles
4.) Head to Platform.
Which Platform??
The biggest problem as a newbie rider is simply not knowing which platform your train arrives on. The trains are labelled by the last station on their route. Simply look at the MRT or BTS map of the system and figure out which is the last station in the direction you want to go, and then wait at the appropriate platform. The closest Station to the Ekbodin Condominium are MRT Lat Phrao, BTS Lat Phrao(Yellow Line) Also can easily connect to BTS Green line to explore Bangkok such as Siam, Victory Monument.

Motorcycle Taxis
Motorcycle Taxis
Two wheels motorcycle taxis “Win” are both the most fun and by far the fastest way to get around Bangkok, especially during peak traffic hours. A motorcycle taxi can be hailed from any of the taxi stands on street corners throughout the city or on the Grab, Bolt, InDrive applications. Fast, convenient, and completely. unconcerned with traffic regulations, if you take a ride on the back of a motorcycle taxi you can expect to be jetted in zig-zaggy style through rows of moving vehicles as your driver tries to you to your destination as quickly as possible so he can return to his stand to chat with his friends and pick up another fare. Motorcycle taxis in Bangkok are regulated and each taxi stand will have a list of local destinations and their prices. Motorcycle drivers are regulated, and their brightly colored vests only allow them to pick up fares at their designated taxi stands which are almost always in the neighborhood where the driver himself lives.
1) Find a Motorcycle Stand
2) Make an eye contact with the driver and rise the index finger
3) State Your Destination, the most popular destinations are Rot Fai Tay Din –
MRT Lumpini (20 baht) and Bi Ti Es Rot Fai Faa – Si Lom (40 baht). For other routes book one via Grab application to pick up you at Ibis Sathorn hotel. I suggest this mode of transport when you go to Siam, Platinum and Grand Palace
4) “Gii Baht?” (how much, show on fingers)
5) Hold On With Your Abs, Not Your Arms
